Spilled coffee on your favorite shirt? Stepped into a mystery stain at brunch? Don’t panic — stains happen. At Fullbins, we see all kinds of clothing chaos, and we’re here to help you deal with it like a pro (or, hey, just book us and we’ll do it 😎).

Here’s your practical, no-BS guide to getting stains out before they become permanent residents in your closet.

The Golden Rule: Speed Wins

The #1 mistake? Waiting too long. Most stains set in within 15–30 minutes, especially if they’re hit with heat or pressure too early. The moment you notice a stain:

  1. Stop what you’re doing

  2. Run cold water over the back of the fabric

  3. Blot gently — no scrubbing!

Let speed be your superpower.

The Pre-Treat Trifecta for Stains

Whether you're using store-bought stain fighters or making your own, always start with these three steps:

  1. Rinse with cold water

  2. Blot, don’t rub

  3. Apply a targeted solution

💡 DIY Spot Solution

Mix:

  • 1 tablespoon dish soap

  • 2 tablespoons hydrogen peroxide

  • 1 tablespoon baking soda

Gently massage it into the stain and let sit for 10–15 minutes before washing.

What NOT to Do

Let's save you from the classic blunders:

🚫 Don’t use hot water first — it locks stains in like concrete

🚫 Don’t toss it straight in the dryer — heat bakes in the damage

🚫 Don’t drench the whole item in product — precision beats puddles

When to Wave the White Flag (or Just Book Us)

Some stains are just built differently. If it’s been through the dryer or you’ve already tried twice, take a breath. Sometimes it’s time to:

  • Accept the "battle scar"

  • Cut it into rags (respectfully)

  • Or... tag in the Fullbins crew
